Our main research themes are:

• Musculoskeletal conditions of the shoulder, cervical and lumbar spine
• The management and/or rehabilitation of people with musculoskeletal conditions, including multi-morbidity, the promotion of physical activity, strategies to promote behavioural change and living life well with long term conditions
• Clinical pain research
• Physiological responses to interventions

Also, we carry out research to inform the development of the physiotherapy workforce.
